There's never been any question about the talent of Kenny Britt. The Titans wide receiver was a first round pick, but maturity issues have stymied his football production. He wasn't the starter to begin the season because of it and an altercation in a club prior to the weekend sent him out of the starting lineup yesterday against the Eagles even with Justin Gage out because of injury.
Britt didn't enter the game until midway through the second quarter, but exploded for seven catches for 225 yards and three TDs. If he was on your bench, I can't blame you. We still don't the details of what happened in the club and he may not be at fault. Britt scored for the fifth consecutive game and has become an every week start.
Britt is physical and runs well for someone his size. The Titans look for him deep and near the goal line. Teams have been playing eight in the box consistently to slow down Chris Johnson and they will have to begin showing more respect for the Titans passing game.
