4th annual 24-hour Long Island Shootout for Soldiers lacrosse event raises nearly $150,000 for veterans

The Town of Oyster Bay Field of Dreams was the site of the Shootout for Soldiers, 24 consecutive one-hour lacrosse games from 9 a.m. Thursday, July 20, 2017 to 9 a.m. Friday, July 21. Shootout for Soldiers, which was started by high schoolers in Baltimore, uses lacrosse as a platform to give back to veterans and is now in 12 cities across the country.
