Greg Gurenlian among five Lizards named to MLL All-Star Game

Five members of the New York Lizards were named to the 2016 MLL All-Star Game roster, the league announced Tuesday.

Faceoff specialist Greg Gurenlian, last season’s Most Valuable Player, defenseman Joe Fletcher, attack Rob Pannell and midfielders JoJo Marasco and Paul Rabil will represent the Lizards in the game, which will by played July 9 at Titan Stadium of Cal State Fullerton.

The 2016 “MLL Ultimate Fan Fantasy” contest winners will select the two teams in a draft on July 8.

Lizards head coach Joe Spallina and Ohio Machine head coach Bear Davis will coach the All-Star teams.

For the first time in league history, the game will feature halftime entertainment from hip-hop artist Kid Ink.
