Rothar (9 goals, 12 points) sets Farmingdale marks

Justine Rothar set school records with nine goals and 12 points for Farmingdale State in a 19-12 win over Mount St. Vincent in women's lacrosse yesterday. Theresa Rokee had three goals, and Jennifer Jung had two goals and three assists. The Rams (2-2, 1-0 Skyline) led 9-5 at halftime. MSV is 4-1, 0-1.

BASEBALL

USMMA 10, CCNY 8: Mike Bybee was 3-for-3 with four RBIs for the Mariners (7-5), who scored four runs in the second and third innings. CCNY is 2-14.

Baruch 11, SUNY-Old Westbury 6: Arturo Ledesma had a homer and three RBIs for Baruch (5-5). Old Westbury is 9-5.

SOFTBALL

Hofstra 8, Rutgers 0: Joanna Kralowetz went 2-for-3 with three RBIs for Hofstra (11-11). Kayleigh Lotti struck out nine in four innings.

Dowling sweeps. Stephanie Plochochi struck out eight in a 9-0 win over Mercy (7-10, 0-6) in the opener. Dowling (11-11, 2-0) won Game 2 by forfeit.

Post splits. Christina Berardi threw a two-hitter and Kerry Fisher drove in both runs for Post (10-8) in a 2-0 win over Southern Connecticut State after the Pioneers lost the opener, 3-2.

Molloy sweeps. Josette Cavallaro had two RBIs for Molloy (8-10, 2-0 ECC) in an 8-7 win over Concordia in the second game. Molloy won the first, 6-5.
