Rockland team plays as Bergen Boulders for a day

The Rockland Boulders changed their name to the Bergen Boulders on Sunday in an attempt to draw more baseball fans from south of the state line, including residents of Bergen County in New Jersey. The Boulders hosted the Worcester Tornadoes at Provident Bank Park in Pomona with a limited supply of Bergen Boulders T-shirts and baseball gear sold at the team store in the ballpark. It was also Jersey Day at the park, with fans encouraged to wear their favorite team jersey. (July 22, 2012)
