Chris Carlin will leave SNY after Nov. 4 to become a sports talk radio host at WIP-FM in Philadelphia, a radio industry source confirmed.

Josh Innes, a Houston radio host whom Carlin will replace at WIP, first reported the news on Twitter.

Carlin is expected to join former Eagles linebacker Ike Reese in afternoon drive time at the Philadelphia station.

A former producer of WFAN’s “Mike and the Mad Dog” program, Carlin has performed a variety of jobs at SNY, including as a host of “Loud Mouths,” “Sports Nite,” “Beer Money” and the Mets postgame show.

He also does radio play-by-play for Rutgers football. He recently gave up calling Rutgers basketball and was replaced by WFAN’s Jerry Recco.
