It was too late for TNT to do anything about Thursday night's Rockets-Knicks game, but ESPN took action earlier Thursday to reduce the number of Knicks games on its upcoming schedule.

The network ditched three upcoming appearances for the 5-34 Knicks -- against the Thunder Jan. 28, the Nets Feb. 6 and the Clippers March 25.

ESPN still has one Knicks game left on its schedule -- Super Bowl Sunday against the Lakers. ABC also has one, against the Cavaliers Feb. 22.

TNT has two Knicks games left -- Jan. 29 against the Pacers and March 12 against the Lakers.
