Who was that vaguely familiar voice hosting on WFAN Monday night? He knew sports. He had a sense of humor. He seemed comfortable speaking publicly.
Turned out it was David Paterson, former governor of the great state of New York, who in January did a nice job sitting in with Mike Francesa.
This time he was solo. Hey, if Eliot Spitzer can host a show on CNN, why not Paterson on FAN?
“He did a very good job – particularly for a first show,’’ operations manager Mark Chernoff said. “We will definitely discuss with him the possibility of more work on WFAN.’’
