ST. PETERSBURG, Russia - Fox is planning to build a studio in Moscow's Red Square that will be the site of the network's coverage of the 2018 World Cup.

Executive producer David Neal says Fox liked the background of the Kremlin and St. Basil's Cathedral.

Neal understands the challenges, saying Thursday during an interview at FIFA's headquarters hotel: "I'm glad we have three years to work on it, because I can only imagine the amount of red tape."

He doesn't expect Fox to be alone there, adding: "I think you'll find that there will be other rights holders who will want Red Square, as well."
