Remember that story I wrote last week about Boomer Esiason's crazy work schedule?
One of the many things I didn't have room to mention was the strange experience of watching Westwood One play-by-play man Kevin Harlan at work during a Packers-Bears Monday night game.
Mr. Harlan long has been known for yelling his way through even mundane plays. It turns out he moves like he talks.
While describing plays Harlan tends to act them out, hopping around the booth mimicking players catching, throwing, blocking and tackling.
It's a little weird. But it does offer some insight into his style. And as a now-fellow 50-year-old, I admire his stamina.
