As long as the Knicks stick around in the playoffs I will be all Knicks, all the time, more as a basketball writer than a sports media/business writer.

Follow all the action, especially via our resident hoops maven Alan Hahn, at newsday.com/knicks.

But I will try to keep up with important media developments when they occur.

For example: TNT will deploy Marv Albert and Steve Kerr for the Knicks-Celtics series. It will be Albert's first Knicks playoff play-by-play since he and the Garden parted ways back in the mid-2000s.

Keep in mind that all first-round games other than those on ABC will be shown on MSG in addition to TNT or ESPN.

Speaking of TNT, here are Charles Barkley's thoughts on the Knicks-Celtics series:

"Not a chance in the world [that the Knicks can beat the Celtics]. It’s a great match-up for the Celtics. They are bigger than the Knicks, [Rajon] Rondo is going to have a terrific series because he will have the advantage in the open court against Chauncey Billups and they are going to punish the Knicks on the boards. The Knicks have no chance of beating the Celtics.”

Hmm. We shall see...
