The Knicks’ acquisition of Carmelo Anthony – and the tidal wave of publicity and excitement that followed – sparked an 89 percent rise in average ticket prices on the secondary market, from $206 to $386 as of the middle of this past week, according to

The Nets’ deal for Deron Williams? Not so much. Their tickets were down an average of five percent in the week following that trade.
