For the first time in SNY’s 11-year history, the network’s Mets games are out-rating YES’ Yankees games at the All-Star break, and by a comfortable margin.

Mets games are averaging 2.91 percent of homes in the New York area, compared to 2.28 for the Yankees on YES.

YES’ ratings have been hurt by the network’s ongoing carriage dispute with Comcast, which has kept Yankees games out of about 900,000 total homes, 600,000 of which are in the official New York market. But it is likely SNY still would be ahead even with the addition of those homes.

SNY’s Mets games also lead YES’ Yankees games in average viewers, 278,078 to 219,205.
