Dwayne (The Rock) Johnson never became a star as a University of Miami football player in the early 1990s, but he remains close to fellow Hurricanes of various eras - including Warren Sapp, Jessie Armstead and Ray Lewis - and feels very much a part of the program's tradition.
"The program is a sacred program, and it's a brotherhood we all take a lot of pride in," he said last week during an interview to promote his new film, "Tooth Fairy."
"That program was a catalyst for all of us."
"I don't see that," he said. "I had a goal list of everyone I wanted to wrestle and the very last guy on that list was Brock Lesnar. We had a tremendous match.
