The Yankees are approaching the mid-point of their season, and the YES Network still is not being seen in 900,000 homes that subscribe to Comcast, thanks to an ongoing carriage dispute.

Does Yankees president Randy Levine think a deal might be in the offing sometime soon?

“We’ll see,” he said Monday at a news conference to announce a new partnership between the Yankees and Stubhub. “We hope. One day at a time.

“We, basically the Yes Network, has been reaching out to Comcast almost daily, every single day, to try to get them to the table to sit with us and with Fox [which owns the majority of YES] and they haven’t as of now.

“I think you have to ask them: Why don’t they want to sit at the table? Why are they continuing to charge their fans higher prices and providing less service?”
