Arianny Celeste, the longest-tenured and most popular of the UFC octagon girls, was arrested early Saturday morning in Las Vegas on a domestic violence charge.

The arrest came hours before the start of UFC 146, the promotion's pay-per-view card featuring an all-heavyweight lineup. Celeste, who has modeled for Maxim, FHM, Playboy and other outlets, appeared at the event at the MGM Grand Garden Arena toward the end, arriving at the time of Roy Nelson's fight with Dave Herman (third to last fight of the night).

She is scheduled to appear in a Clark County courtroom later this week.

“Arianny is our baby. She has been with us for over five years," UFC president Dana White said in a statement. "She is a good girl and an amazing ambassador for UFC. I don’t know all the details of what happened but we have her back and support her 100 percent."
