Sharing a house in the desert with more than a dozen strangers. No contact with the outside world for a few weeks. Surrounded by men who want to beat you up.

Freeport’s Eddie Gordon has been here before. And now, the Season 19 winner of “The Ultimate Fighter” returns to compete in the UFC’s 25th edition of the show.

This season’s “Redemption” features 14 fighters who have competed on previous installments of “TUF,” including another past winner in Joe Stevenson.

Gordon won Season 19 as a light heavyweight, being Dhiego Lima in 71 seconds in the finale in 2014. Lima also is a contestant on the new season, which will feature welterweights.

After beating Lima to secure a UFC contract, Gordon lost his next three fights in the promotion, including a split decision to Chris Dempsey that could have gone either way.

Gordon, 33, returned to the cage in August 2016, after nearly a year away, and won a split decision over Chris Lozano in a Cage Fury FC bout.

UFC bantamweight champion Cody Garbrandt and former champion T.J. Dillashaw, also a former “TUF” contestant, will be the coaches this season.
