Not since September 2008 has Massapequa's Phil Baroni walked away from a mixed martial arts bout as the victor.

That changed on March 25, 2011, when Baroni won a unanimous decision over Nick Nolte -- no, not that Nick Nolte - in Titan Fighting Championships's TFC 17 in Kansas City. The judges scored it 29-28, 30-27, 29-28 in favor of Baroni.

Baroni (14-13) drew boos at the end of the fight, in part because he beat a local guy and in part because the fight wasn't all that spectacular. By the third round, both fighters were completely gassed and staggered around the cage as if they were patrons leaving a bar after a long night inside.

"I was really tired in the third round," Baroni said. "I was really tired in the second round."

You can see the entire fight on YouTube for as long as these links last: Part 1 | Part 2. Definitely stick around for the end of Part 2 so you can see Baroni rocking those Sam "Ace" Rothstein shades from "Casino."
