Mike Tyson added to EA Sports UFC 2 video game

Mike Tyson a playable fighter in next UFC video game

Mike Tyson regularly can be seen cageside at UFC events.

Now, you can see him inside the octagon in your own home -- or wherever it is you expect to be playing the EA Sports UFC 2 video game when it's released on March 15.

Tyson will be available immediately to those who pre-order the game. For those who purchase the game on release day or afterward, Tyson will be an unlockable character. He'll fight across two weight divisions: heavyweight and light heavyweight.

“As a huge fan, I’m honored to be part of EA Sports and explore the world of mixed martial arts,” Tyson said via press release. “I follow UFC very closely and it’s going to be very cool to see how I would stack up against these amazing MMA athletes."

There will be two versions of Tyson: "Iron" Mike Tyson, based on his invincible self in the 1980s, and then "Legacy" Mike Tyson, developed more on his later years as a boxer.
