Three weeks after not being cleared to fight by the Pennsylvania State Athletic Commission and then being fired from the UFC, both of which occured before weigh-ins for UFC on Versus 4, Nate Marquardt can fight again.
Marquardt had his suspension lifted by PSAC on Wednesday, the commissioner Greg Sirb saying that he had passed all the medical requirements necessary.
Where Marquardt fights next is the question. Shortly after Marquardt was denied a license to fight Rick Story in the main event, UFC president Dana White posted a video his Twitter account through Tout.com saying Marquardt would no longer fight in the UFC.
Bellator and other smaller MMA promotions have reached out to Marquardt, but no decision has been made yet.
Marquardt was suspended by testing positive for high levels of testosterone as part of hormone replacement therapy he was receiving.
