Rampage Jackson, Rashad Evans return to TV

Thank you, Spike. Thank you, UFC.

They've just given all of us 90 minutes on pure television entertainment in the month of May, with the announcement of the third installment of "UFC Primetime."

For three weeks in May, beginning Wednesday, May 12 at 11 p.m., we'll be able to follow Quinton "Rampage" Jackson and Rashad Evans as they prepare to meet at UFC 114 on May 29 in Las Vegas.

This will be some enjoyable television, no doubt. If you recall their antics as coaches during Season 10 of "The Ultimate Fighter," you know how these two light heavyweights don't play nicely with each other.

When they're near each other and there's a microphone nearby, watch the magic happen. "TUF 10" was just a taste, as was their encounter at UFC 96 (UFC photo above).

Jackson trains at the Wolfslair Academy in England, so presumably we'll get a little dash of UK trash-talker extraordinaire Michael Bisping. Hearing Bisping and Rampage team up to talk trash could explode non-HD television sets.

Evans will be with Greg Jackson, considered the best MMA coach in the game. Presumably, we'll see him training with Georges St-Pierre and Jon Jones, to name a few. The over-under on "A-Team" movie jokes from Team Rashad for the three-episode series has been set at 14.5. Place your bets, place your bets. Everyone's a winner.
