Shane Carwin named in Alabama steroid case

Shane Carwin, the former UFC interim heavyweight champion who lost a unification bout with Brock Lesnar in July, was named in a federal court as a person who received steroids in 2006 from Applied Pharmacy Services in Mobile, Ala.

APS supervising pharmacist J. Michael Bennett was sentenced to four years in jail on Friday by a federal judge. Carwin is among 22 athletes to be named in the suit by prosecutors. Other prominent names included former Olympic gold medalist and pro wrestler Kurt Angle, and former WWE star "Hardcore" Bob Holly (real name: Bob Howard).

Here's more details about the case. There's been no official comment from Carwin yet.
