NEWARK - Who's the master? Still not ShoNuff!
At least on this particular night at UFC 111.
Rodney "ShoNuff the Master" Wallace, owner of the best nickname in MMA history, landed dozens of big shots but also got hit with dozens of big shots form Jared Hamman.
Hamman also controlled the ground game throughout the light heavyweight bout, which was the difference. Hamman won a unanimous decision, with all three judges scoring the bout 29-28.
"Great fight, holy smokes," Hamman said.
Wallace landed a number of big hits in the first round, but also got caught with a few shots from Hamman. Two of Hamman's shots put Wallace on the canvas.
Hamman worked a good ground and pound late in the second round, landing several big elbows to Wallace's head.
