PHILADELPHIA -- Welterweight Rory MacDonald is widely considered a top prospect in the world of MMA. He's 22 years old, by the way.
Add Mike Pyle to the list of believers as MacDonald finished him in the first round at UFC 133 on Saturday night. MacDonald won by TKO with 1:06 left in the round.
"I wish it would have went a little longer so I could show more things," MacDonald said after the fight.
MacDonald (12-1, 2-1 UFC) got Pyle (21-8-1) on the ground and hit him with a big left hook inside the guard. That shot helped set up the final flurry before referee Kevin Mulhall stepped in to stop the fight.
