UFC will broadcast as many as four events on Fox beginning in 2012, according to a sourced report from the Sports Business Journal.
The move represents a shift from Spike TV, the UFC's primary television partner the past seven years. It was Spike which aired "The Ultimate Fighter," a reality show that helped launch the UFC and the sport of mixed martial arts from fringe to mainstream. This deal, if SBJ's anonymous sources are correct, also marks the first time UFC would appear regularly on a major broadcast network.
