Long Island's own New York Wrestling Connection is briging in two major stars from WWE and TNA for a pair of upcoming area shows.
Bryan Danielson - WWE's Daniel Bryan - was originally scheduled to take part in the NYWC's August 28 event, but was forced to pull out of the event when WWE brought him back into the fold last week and booked him for a house show the same day.
But NYWC announced yesterday that Danielson has signed to take part in the company's September 11 event, "Never back down" at the Sports Arena in St. James.
"Bryan felt terrible about canceling his prior scheduled appearances with the NYWC and the WWE has allowed him to compete for us on September 11th," an NYWC spokesman said. " We would like to thank Bryan and WWE for going above and beyond for our fans to make his appearance possible. Make sure to purchase your tickets right away because this event will sell out fast."
What's more, NYWC has announced that none other than "The Innovator of Violence" Tommy Dreamer has been added to the August 28 show, titled "Draw the Line." It still has not been announced who Dreamer's opponent will be that night. The show is being held at the NYWC Sportatorium in Deer Park.
Ticket information for both events is available at NYWCWrestling.com.
