The WWE held a supershow (both Raw and Smackdown stars) at Madison Square Garden last night. John Cena announced to the crowd that Wrestlemania 30 will take place at MSG. Wrestlemania takes place at the legendary arena every 10 years. Wrestlemania 20 was held at MSG in 2004 and saw the Undertaker return as the Dead Man. The main event of the show was a triple threat match for the World Heavywieght title. Chris Benoit defeated both HHH and Shawn Michaels.

If you're wondering, Wrestlemania 30 is in 2014. Seems like a long way off, but what will the WWE look like then?

By the way, the NXT rookies attacked Cena at the show, according to various fan reports. The WWE makes their way to the Nassau Coliseum tonight for the Fatal 4 Way pay per view. Jim Ross reported in his blog that the fans should expect some surprises tonight at the show. Ross will be backstage for the pay per view so he has to know something good is going to happen.

The show could be a major failure if you look at the card and lack of booking that went into it. These “surprises” better be worth it for those that buy and attend the show. It may be the only way of salvaging this show.

I’ll have my review of the pay per view soon after it ends right here.
