The Rock will appear on “Monday Night Raw” on March 28th, the last Raw before Wrestlemania 27 in Atlanta, according to his Facebook page.
“Get ready CHICAGO...The Rock is Bringin' It and we're "Puttin' Our Boots to Candy Asses" LIVE on RAW and ELECTRIFYING THE WORLD...3/28/11," he wrote earlier today on Facebook.
Will the WWE hold off on having The Rock and Cena live in the ring face-to-face? My guess is we get some interaction between them but only to wet the appetite of fans. The whole point is to get fans excited so they buy Wrestlemania. The WWE would be crazy to give away a huge selling point on free TV.
It has already been announced that The Rock will also be live on Raw the Monday after Wrestlemania on April 4th in Atlanta.
The Rock will also be one of many WWE stars to make appearances on this season of “Tough Enough,” according to Entertainment Weekly. I’ve also read online that Bret Hart will make an appearance along with many current stars. That’s a lot of talent teaching potential stars of tomorrow.
