PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- Iker Casillas, goalkeeper and team captain of World Cup champion Spain said that his team isn’t taking Saturday’s friendly against the United States lightly.

"They already upset us at the Confederations Cup. They are a very physical team – fast and strong. The home crowd will also play to their advantage – it will be a very difficult game,” Casillas said during a Friday afternoon press conference.

Spain head coach Vincente Del Bosque agreed with Casillas. He said that the United States National team is one of the most physically fit teams in the world and would be one of the favorites to win the upcoming CONCACAF Gold Cup.

“In last year’s Confederations Cup, the United States gave us problems with their physicality," Del Bosque said. "It’s one of their biggest advantages. Along with Mexico, they will be favorites to win the Gold Cup."
