Time to start Dempsey up top

Which lineup will Bob Bradley employ against the fiery Jamaicans Sunday in our nation's capital?

We probably won't see many wholesale changes from the last game, during which the U.S. generated -- but missed -- several chances on net. Against a team that has yet to surrender a goal, however, the U.S. definitely needs firepower on the attack. Clint Dempsey, despite not being able to "buy a goal" in the previous game, should provide that spark from the outset.

This lineup would be nice to watch:

--------------------- Altidore ---- Dempsey ---------------------
------ Bedoya ----- Bradley ------ Jones ------ Donovan ------
-- Lichaj ----- Bocanegra ---- Goodson ----- Cherundolo --
------------------------------ Howard ----------------------------------

Bedoya would also spark the attack from the wing and Eric Lichaj, who makes a silly play for every brilliant play, has the speed needed on defense. The rest is pretty standard. The substitutes would depend on whether the U.S. is winning, losing or tied in the second half. If winning, Maurice Edu, Tim Ream and, dare I say it, Jonathan Bornstein, could bolster the defense. If they need more offense, Juan Agudelo and Sacha Kljestan likely will get the nod.

Dempsey needs to finish the chances he missed last game and Donovan needs to wake up from his funk, because he's been largely absent out there throughout the first three games. It's a little disconcerting, however, to think that both these key players missed training sessions this week due to family commitments. Both players have sisters (Donovan's is his twin) getting hitched this weekend and will fly back to be with the team Saturday night. It's not disconcerting that they've put family first here. I like that. But, it's just a little worrisome for fans in what is a massive game for the U.S.

Who would you start?
