GOLFEls wins by 4 at Doral

Ernie Els ended the longest drought of his career by winning the CA Championship at Doral over South African protege Charl Schwartzel. Els played the final 23 holes on the Blue Monster without a bogey and shot a 6-under-par 66 Sunday for a four-shot win. Els last won two years ago in the Honda Classic.

The $5-million race between leading ladies Rachel Alexandra and Zenyatta is off, leaving unbeaten Zenyatta to face others April 9 in the Apple Blossom at Oaklawn Park. Rachel Alexandra's owner, Jess Jackson, Sunday said his 2009 Horse of the Year is not in top form after her loss Saturday at the Fair Grounds.
