SECOND: Day of Fury could play out as the speed of the speed with aggressive ride from the rail. Risetotheoccasion may be in the garden spot if top selection gets hooked on the lead. Mewannarose takes suspicious plunge after defeating pricier in last two; proceed with caution.

THIRD: Dance Queen was a front-end winner in debut on Gulfstream grass; more to come. Thirst for Truth is riding a forward line on the numbers and will offer generous ticket. Lucky Long compiled solid work tab for first start since August; must consider.

FOURTH: Toohottoevenspeak is training sharply for first start since 52-day freshener; logged only win at today’s 7-furlong trip. SIXTH: Kissin Cassie tallied solid final fraction when a determined winner in last; pairs up. Catcher in the Sky was a front-running winner in debut and now makes first start since 77-day layoff. Clairvoyant Lady took backward step in last start after tenacious win in prior; big-time player.

SEVENTH: Alex the Terror notched swift late-pace figure when a determined winner on Big A’s main track on April Fools’ Day; surface lover takes another. Classy Class consistently logs fast figures; dangerous. Eighty Three bested Classy Class by nearly a length when a winner March 18; logical threat.

EIGHTH: Celtic Serenade tallied fast late-pace figure on Big A sod last fall; half-mile bullet Friday is the clincher. Hyde Park Express also notched swift final fraction in same Nov. 24 race as top selection; very interesting. Sharp Lacey owns sprinter’s speed and makes first start with maiden-claiming tag; very playable. Eighth Commandment runs late and could be aided by switch to grass
