1. GARDEN CITY BOYS LACROSSE. The Trojans wrapped up an undefeated regular season and a Nassau Conference II title and then rolled past Division, 11-3, in the first round of the Class B playoffs. Garden City plays South Side in the quarterfinals at 6:30 p.m. Friday at Hofstra.

2. ST. ANTHONY'S GIRLS LACROSSE. Three more impressive wins for the Friars, defeating CHSAA opponents Holy Trinity, St. John the Baptist and Sacred Heart to secure the regular season title. The defense has held its last nine opponents to 5.7 goals per game. St. Anthony's is ranked fourth in the country by ESPN Rise.

3. ST. ANTHONY'S BOYS TRACK. The Friars won their home meet last weekend in dominating fashion, then took fourth overall in the distance medley at the Loucks Games in White Plains. The relay of Tom Diliberto, James Adegbite, Tom Louro and Kevin Kreider finished in 10:21.67.

4. BAY SHORE SOFTBALL. It was business as usual for Marauders pitcher Michelle DeVito, who threw a pair of two-hitters to improve to 15-0. They are three wins away from a perfect regular season.

5. BAY SHORE GIRLS TRACK. Kelsey Palomino (17-3 3/4) and Aleis Barrau (17-1 1/4) took fourth and fifth place respectively in the long jump in the Loucks Games at White Plains.

6. CHAMINADE BOYS LACROSSE. Bounced back from its only loss of season to post a solid 11-8 victory over CHSAA rival St. Anthony's. That's two victories over the Friars this season, with the big one for league and state honors, on May 24 at Hofstra.

7. CLARKE BASEBALL. Chris Appell threw a two-hitter as top-seeded Clarke shut out Island Trees in the first round of the Nassau Class A playoffs. Appell hit a two-run single in the second inning and went 2-for-3. Clarke improved to 19-0-1 as Appell outdueled Island Trees ace Mike Jeannetti.

8. KELLENBERG SOFTBALL. The Firebirds improved to 23-0 with three more wins. Susan Pardo, Krista King and Caitlin Kennedy each pitched brilliantly as Kellenberg completed its second straight unbeaten league season.

9. HALF HOLLOW HILLS GIRLS BADMINTON. Hills defeated Whitman, 9-0, and Lindenhurst, 7-2, to remain undefeated. Hannah Finger defeated Carrie Simone, 11-3, 11-1, at first singles against Whitman. Hills has now won 42 straight matches dating to 2009.

10. GARDEN CITY MAROON GIRLS GOLF. Garden City Maroon defeated Plainview JFK, 9-0, to win its 10th consecutive conference title and move its county-match winning streak to 72. Sam Sessa and Alex Michielini each shot a 5-over 41 on the front nine of Bethpage Yellow to lead the way.
