TripAdvisor recently announced the winners of its Travelers' Choice awards for destinations around the world on the rise in 2015.
The awards highlight locations around the globe that have seen the greatest increase in positive feedback and interest from the TripAdvisor community, year-over-year. Awards were determined using traveler review ratings on accommodations, restaurants and attractions.
From the tranquil beaches in Da Nang, Vietnam, to the historic city of Kazan, Russia, here are 10 must-see places to visit in 2015.
Da Nang, Vietnam
Located between Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang, Vietnam is known for its tranquil beaches, culinary tours, and Buddhist sanctuaries. TripAdvisor reviewers suggest a visit to the historic Marble Mountains where the “panoramic scenery is breathtaking.” For an authentic Vietnamese meal, travelers should not miss Lam Vien Restaurant.
