The Washington Post reports that Airspace Lounge is planning to open its first airport lounge space in May at Baltimore Washington International Airport. The space will be open to passengers flying any airline.
The fee, from $17.50 to $40, will entitle passengers to free bagels in the morning, sandwiches in the afternoon and evening, and other snacks as well as coffee, tea and soft drinks. The lounge will be open 5 a.m. to 9 p.m. with wireless Internet access, computers and ample electrical outlets.
It's the first of 40 lounges the start-up company is planning to open at airports nationwide. Details at airspacelounge.com.
