Disney Cruise Line is putting the Big Easy on its 2020 plate, sailing for the first time from New Orleans with the ship that best fits the theme: Disney Wonder.
The ship will sail six times from Feb. 7 to March 6. Those include four-, six- and seven-night Western Caribbean voyages, one seven-night Bahamas cruise and a 14-night Panama Canal cruise.
Mardi Gras falls right in the middle of those scheduled sailings on Feb. 25.
Disney Wonder will be the workhorse for the cruise line with three Puerto Rico sailings, two Hawaii sailings and several Baja California sailings from San Diego on tap through early May.
The ship's relatively new onboard restaurant Tiana’s Place features tastes and sounds inspired by the film “The Princess and the Frog.”
Bookings for early 2020 sailings are open to the public.
