Hamptons weekend: DJs, bands, disco

The 2011 Hamptons summer closes with hot DJs, huge bands, "Real Housewives" and disco:

1. Just as it opened the 2011 season, so shall it be there to close: The Day & Night party organizers have one more bash to throw, and it's going down Saturday at Gurney's Inn (290 Old Montauk Hwy., Montauk). This time, D&N is bringing in DJ Mitch LJ, a celebrity mixer known for working upscale nightclubs and private parties across the globe. Table reservations are a must and start at $300 (for the sun deck/ lounge) and $400 (for tented space). For more details or to make a reservation, call 212-201-1222 or go to dualgroupe.com or dayandnightlife.com.

2. Kelly Killoren Bensimon, co-star of "The Real Housewives of New York City," will take part in the Food Bank for NYC fundraiser Sunday at Georgica (108 Wainscott Stone Rd., Wainscott). Starting at 8 p.m., the reception will feature opening cocktails, a three-course dinner, an open bar, a gift bag and an after-party (and word is there's a big, secret, surprise performance lined up for the night as well). Tickets start at $290 (for a table for two). For purchases or more information, call 877-280-0541 or go to giltcity .com.

3. Southside Johnny & The Asbury Jukes remain a hot ticket to catch, year in and year out, wherever they play -- which is made obvious as the Stephen Talkhouse (161 Main St., Amagansett) is asking a lofty $120 general admission ($135 VIP) for the show at 8 p.m. Sunday. Tickets and information are available at 631-267-3117 or online at stephentalk house.com. And keep in mind: Jon Bon Jovi is a Hamptons regular and avowed Jukes addict, so it wouldn't be strange to see his face in the crowd (among the many famous musicians who quietly frequent this venue).

4. While much of the hot Hamptons nightlife these days happens east of the canal, during the 1970s it was in Westhampton Beach, where the pretty people and well-to-do often were found -- especially at the legendary CLUB Marakesh. Come Sunday at 8 p.m., the defunct club gets "re-funked" as it celebrates its third reunion at Casey's (223 Montauk Hwy., Westhampton) in a night of disco and '80s classic music. Former employees and patrons are expected for this party aimed at the 35-plus crowd. Admission is $20 at the door. For more info, call 800-253-5218 or email marakeshreunion@gmail.com.
