Hamptons Social Series

This Friday is another Hamptons Social Series dinner at Lily Pond. Hosting the event is "The Real Housewives of New York City" star Countess Luann De Lesseps and philanthropist Henry Buhl. The night will benefit ACE New York, a group dedicated to helping the homeless. Dinner will be provided by Philippe Chow, with music by Lee Kalt. 52nd Annual Southampton Hospital Summer Party

The Southampton Hospital is holding its 52nd Annual Summer Party, “An Enchanted Evening,” this Saturday. The event will include cocktails, a silent auction, dinner and dancing. The night benefits the Jenny and John Paulson Emergency Department. The Honorary Jewelry Chairman will be Tiffany & Co., and the Honorary Corporate Chairman will be Barclays Wealth. LL Cool J being honored by Red Cross

Famed rapper LL Cool J (seen here) will be honored with the American Red Cross Humanitarian Award this Saturday at the Red Hot Red Cross Cocktails event at a private estate in Sagaponack. The event is to benefit the Suffolk County Chapter of the American Red Cross. NFL player Eli Manning, along with others, will be on hand at the event. Sky Nellor will provide the night’s music. This event follows the rapper’s appointment to the National Red Cross Celebrity Cabinet by President Barack Obama in March. Tickets range from $150 for junior tickets to $2,500 for benefactors. Hoops4Hope and Soccer4Hope

This Saturday is the Hoops4Hopes fundraiser, benefiting H4H and Soccer4Hope (S4H). The event will include cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, live and silent auction and raffles. Canard, Inc. ( will be catering the event. NBA stars James Harden and Ed Davis will be in attendance. Tickets cost $250 to $500. RdV East’s Polo After Dark

The hip club RdV East presents Polo After Dark Saturday. The event is hosted by Charles Ferri (owner of the Star Room and creator of Star Vodka), Devorah Rose (editor-in-chief of Social Life magazine) and The Star Vodka Polo Team. Polo fans are encouraged to wear their polo jerseys because many Hamptons’ polo players will be there. Complimentary Star Vodka cocktails will be served from 10 to 11 p.m. Admission is the cost of the cover charge, which is $30, but is subject to change throughout the night. Elie Tahari celebrates Hamptons International Film Festival

This Saturday, there will be a celebration of the Hamptons International Film Festival and SummerDoc Series at the Elie Tahari boutique in East Hampton. Cocktails and hors d’oeuvres will be served. The event will be followed by an 8 p.m. screening at Guild Hall (158 Main St,. East Hampton, 631-324-4050) of “The Most Dangerous Man in America: Daniel Ellsberg and the Pentagon Papers,” a 2010 Oscar-nominee. Alec Baldwin will host the screening, along with a discussion with Daniel Ellsberg and famed journalist Carl Bernstein. Third week of Mercedes-Benz Polo Challenge

This Saturday is week three of the Mercedes-Benz Polo Challenge at Blue Star Jets Field. The players are competing to win the Mercedes-Benz Cup and the Hamptons Cup. General admission is $20/car and available on the day of the event. There will also be an invite-only VIP tent, SWAGG Lounge at the Mercedes-Benz Polo Challenge at Blue Star Jets Field. NBA player Ben Gordon hosts polo party

NBA player Ben Gordon will host a private tent event during the Mercedes-Benz Polo Challenge; followed by a post party at Eldridge East this Saturday. There will be a special guest appearance by international model Chanel Iman. The night benefits the Ben Gordon New Life Foundation. Top Chef’s 2010 Great Chefs

Come treat your tastebuds at the Great Chefs Dinner this Sunday. The Leon Levy Foundation and Hayground School invite you to join artist Toni Ross, journalist Jon Snow and designer Nanette Lepore, along with many chefs and artists. Famed chefs include Eric Ripert (Le Bernardin) and Tom Colicchio (Craft Restaurants and a judge on Bravo’s "Top Chef"). There will be a "meet the chefs" cocktail party, a silent art auction and a live music. Proceeds benefit the Jeff Salaway Scholarship Fund at Hayground School. Cocktail party costs $150 and cocktails and dinner in Hayground School’s Jeff’s Kitchen cost $750 (sold out, but there is a waiting list). VIP tickets cost $1,500.
