Gourmusart Summer Gala

Saturday is the 2010 Gourmusart Awards/Benefit Summer Gala at Dockers Waterside Restaurant in East Quogue. Brunch will be served, as well as drinks, and The Kerry Kearney Band will perform. Tickets are $125. Gourmusart is a charitable organization honoring gourmet restaurant owners, musicians and artists, and gives grants to teachers who keep culture alive in the classroom. Ricky Nelson Remembered Tour

A Ricky Nelson Remembered 25th anniversary tour will be in Amagansett Saturday. The night will include live music by Nelson’s two sons Matthew and Gunnar. The night will raise funds for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. This year marks the 25th anniversary of Nelson’s death in a New Year’s Eve plane crash. Tickets are $100. The East End Festival of the Senses

Wines by Morrell is hosting “The East End Festival of the Senses” this Saturday. There will be free wine and food. Live music, auction and artwork by international artist Edith Ingenhaag will be featured at the event as well. The night benefits Uniting Against Lung Cancer, a nonprofit that funds cancer research. Hampton Classic Horse Show

Sunday is the start of the 35th annual Hampton Classic Horse Show in Bridgehampton. The day will feature local equestrians, Olympic riders, up-and-coming riders and world-class competitors. The show runs until Sept. 5. There will be opening day ceremonies and a Peconic Public Radio National Anthem Singing Contest. Tickets cost $10 per person, $20 per carload and children under six are free. The Royal Botania’s oversized hammock will be on display at the event. Mercedes-Benz Polo Challenge

This Saturday, the Bridgehampton Polo Club will host the coveted Mercedes-Benz Polo Challenge at Blue Star Jets Field. This will be the last day of matches. This Saturday Rufus Wainwright and Kylie Minogue (pictured) will perform at the Watermill Center for the third annual Watermill Summer Concert. DJ Rachel Chandler will spin for guests in between sets. Lisa Anastos, Valerie Boster, Martin Dawson, Amanda Hearst, Shamim M. Momin and Dalia Oberlander are co-chairing the event.
