'Real Housewives of NJ'

It's the Hamptons Social Series dinner at Lily Pond this Friday. International polo star Nic Roldan, NBA stars Chris Bosh and Tracy Mourning, PR giant Shamin Abas and International Polo Club Palm Beach are throwing the bash in honor of St. Jude's Children Hospital. Danny Simmons at Walk Tall Gallery

On Friday, Walk Tall Gallery in Sag Harbor will be featuring artist Danny Simmons, brother of Russell Simmons of famed hip-hop label Def Jam and Joseph Simmons (“Reverend Run”) of Run DMC. There will be an invite-only champagne opening at 6 to 8 p.m. Simmons’ exhibit will be featured at the gallery until Aug. 16. Tastings, Tapas and Tango

Tango the night away while sipping your favorite Martha Clara wines this Friday. 2010 Hampton Designer Showhouse

The 2010 Hampton Designer Showhouse, presented by Traditional Home magazine, is hosting a gala preview party this Saturday benefitting Southampton Hospital. Comedy at Guild Hall

Saturday is the fourth annual Night at the Light, a celebration of Long Island wines. The wine-tasting event will be on the grounds of the Montauk Lighthouse. Opening Day of Mercedes-Benz Polo Challenge

It’s opening day of the Mercedes-Benz polo challenge at Blue Star Jets Field this Saturday. This marks the beginning of six weeks of polo, with athletes competing for the Mercedes-Benz Cup and the Hamptons Cup. The invite-only event will take place from 4 to 6 p.m. Celebrities includes include Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian from "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" and Bethenny Frankel from "Bethenny Getting Married?" Children’s Museum of the East End’s Summer Family Fair

Saturday is the second annual summer family fair at the Children’s Museum of the East End. The event, “Under the Sea,” is a day of fun benefiting the museum. Mariska Hargitay of NBC’s “Law and Order SVU” and her husband, actor Peter Hermann, will be at the event. East End Green Fest

This Saturday and Sunday is the East End Green Fest at Strawberry Fields Fairgrounds in Mattituck. The two-day open-air event celebrates local green businesses. It will showcase 10 live local bands, local wineries, renewable energy exhibits, and hand-crafted products available for purchase. Christie Brinkley, Kelly Killoren Bensimon, Alec Baldwin, Sen. Charles Schumer and Dan Rattiner have been invited. Tickets cost $3 for adults and children 12 and under are free.
