Lufthansa German Airlines is getting ready to put its sixth Airbus A380 in the air, and it will celebrate the event with two Twitter contests for New York-area residents.

The A380, the world's largest aircraft, will take make inaugural flight from Frankfurt to JFK on Feb. 28. You can be on that flight and get a behind-the-scenes tour of Lufthansa headquarters if you win one of four prizes in the A380SeatTweet contest. To enter, you must follow @Lufthansa_USA on Twitter. Then, visit  www.lh.com/winA380tickets, select a seat on Lufthansa's virtual A380, and a Tweet will post to reserve your selection. After all of the plane's 526 "seats" are occupied, the day's winner will be announced. This contest runs from Feb. 16 to 19.

The second contest, called catchtheA380crew, is a scavenger hunt through SoHo that will take place Feb. 28. The airline will send 23 "crew members," but only one of them is an actual a crew member, and that person will be holding a pair of roundtrip Business Class tickets to Europe. Your job is to find him or her. Clues about crew members' whereabouts will be tweeted at @Lufthansa_USA beginning Feb. 25. You must find 10 "crew members" before you're led to the real one with the tickets.
