A new way to play tourist in Manhattan-- hop aboard one of those telltale double-decker buses after dark. Gray Line New York's new "Night on the Town" tour is a five-hour affair designed to show off the city's lights.
For $89, passengers get a guided nighttime tour on a double-decker bus and an evening cruise aboard a party boat to see the skyline and Statue of Liberty from the water. Also included is a ticket to the Top of the Rock Observation Deck and dinner at Grotta Azzurra on Mulberry Street in Little Italy (choice of nine entrees — eggplant or chicken parmigiana, pasta, fish).
Tours begin at 5:30 p.m. daily from Gray Line New York at 777 8th Ave. and return there at 10:30 p.m. Tickets can be purchased online in advance or in person.
