Here's an unusual match: Atlantic City and the Tribeca Film Festival.
The weekend of July 9-11, films screened at Manhattan's popular film festival will be screened outdoors, right on the beach. Films to be shown include “The Infidel” (UK), “The Trotsky” (Canada), “My Last Five Girlfriends” (UK), and “TiMER” (USA).
A DJ and ballroom dancers will be present on the beach before the daily movie screenings. On July 9, for example, dancers will perform and teach Russian-style dances to the crowd. Sand sculptures will be present on the beach, along with carnival-style food.
All films will be shown on an outdoor screen 33-feet long and 20-feet tall.
Rooms for the weekend start at $319 per night at Caesars Atlantic City, but guests can use promo code, TRIBECA to receive 25 percent off their stay. Throughout the duration of the Tribeca Cinema Series, Caesars will be offering a $35 prix fixe menu at its restaurants Mia, Nero’s Grill and Primavera.
