NEWS12 WESTCHESTER: A 53-year-old Manhattan man has been arrested and charged with mowing down a 21-year-old Mount Vernon woman early Saturday morning and fleeing the scene, authorities said Sunday. Taja Johnson, of 426 N. High St., was struck near West 133rd Street and Eighth Avenue in Manhattan about 4:30 a.m. Saturday. Boubacar Bathily, of Manhattan, was arrested Sunday after he turned himself in to police. (April 7, 2013)
