Exotic vet in the Hudson Valley

Exotic animal veterinarian Dr. Laurie Hess, who owns the Veterinary Center of Birds & Exotics in Bedford Hills, sees patients ranging from small sugar gliders, which are flying marsupials, to large reptiles and mammals from all over the tristate area and beyond. Her practice is the only all-bird-and-exotic animal hospital in Westchester County and surrounding areas, and one of the few bird and exotic specialty referral hospitals in the country accredited by the American Animal Hospital Association.
