DEAR CARRIE: My husband was rushed to the hospital after
being injured on the job. An orthopedist recommended an MRI to determine the
extent of the injuries. But for some reason my husband's company has delayed
filing an injury report; that inaction in turn has delayed the procedure. No
report means no workers' compensation number, which my husband needs to obtain
treatment....
