Former Newsday Pulitzer Prize winning reporter Dennis Duggan joined Newsday
I call it the "Little Parade That Could," meaning the
homespun, seat-of-your pants St. Patrick's Day parade in Queens Sunday that
began five years ago after a talk at a Woodside bar between Brendan Fay and
Ellen Duncan, a nurse.
Both were tired of the Big Parade that rumbles along Fifth Avenue every
