DANBURY - A group protested at the Walmart in Danbury, calling for the retailer to stop selling assault weapons in its stores.

The group delivered a petition with 300,000 signatures asking the retailer to stop sales of assault weapons.

Managers at the Danbury Walmart said they care about the community and would pass the petition to the company.
