NEWTOWN - The six adults killed in the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting will receive presidential medals for their heroism.
The White House says the families of the four teachers and two administrators who were killed will receive the Presidential Citizens Medal in honor of their loved ones next Friday.
Stratford native Victoria Soto was one of the teachers killed in the shooting. She died trying to shield her students from the gunman.
