Kids eat free Wednesdays at Roosevelt Field mall in Garden City

Your next meal out can be a family affair with Roosevelt Field's latest summer promotion.
On Wednesdays, now through Sept. 28, children ages 12 and younger are eligible for a free entree with the purchase of an adult meal.
Here’s a look at the restaurants (some of which are accessible without going into the mall) participating in the dine in-only promo:
Osteria Morini: At this Italian eatery, kids eat free with the purchase of an adult entree priced $25 or more. Options include pasta with butter, pomodoro or Bolognese; grilled cheese; and chicken cutlet with potatoes. Available for dinner only.
Small Batch by Tom Colicchio: Bring the kids to “Top Chef” judge Tom Colicchio’s spot where they can eat locally-sourced comfort food for free with the purchase of a $25 adult entree. Kids' meals include chicken fingers, cheeseburgers, spaghetti and macaroni-and-cheese. The offer applies all day Wednesdays.
True Food Kitchen: A personal-size Margherita pie, burger or chicken teriyaki quinoa bowl is on the house when an adult orders an entree at this chain, founded by Dr. Andrew Weil, whose menu is based on an anti-inflammatory food pyramid. Available during lunch and dinner services.
Havana Central Restaurant & Rum Bar: Listen to live Latin music starting at 6 p.m. on Wednesdays while dining at Havana Central, where kids can order chicken and rice, steak, salad, vegetables, chicken fingers or empanadas at no cost when spending a minimum of $14 on an adult entree. Available all day.
Olivos Mediterranean Bar & Grill: Located on the upper level of the mall (by the Nordstrom wing), adult diners can order from an expansive menu of hot and cold appetizers (mussels, rice balls, meatballs, wings, hummus, baba ganoush), salads, wraps, panini, pastas, pizzas, seafood and more, while their minis can get chicken fingers and fries or pasta with marina or vodka sauce, or butter. Halal and gluten free options available. Valid for lunch and dinner.
Nomiya: Still in its soft-opening phase, this sushi and izakaya spot is giving kids free teriyaki chicken or beef; udon noodles; chicken or beef fried rice; spicy tuna rolls; California rolls or shrimp tempura when an adult orders an entree or regular or specialty roll. The deal is available for lunch and dinner.
